WHAT IS NITROGEN? WHAT DOES IT DO?
It is one of the most critical building blocks of proteins that control the metabolisms necessary for plant development. In the absence of this element, plants cannot synthesize the amino acids, proteins and enzymes necessary to maintain their vitality. High and unbalanced N nutrition increases the risk of some fungal diseases, especially Fusarium. Plants take up nitrogen in two forms. These are in the form of Nitrate nitrogen (NO3-) and Ammonium nitrogen (NH4+). The roots of plants take up both these forms of nitrogen. Most plants prefer the Nitrate nitrogen form to Ammonium nitrogen. But Nitrate nitrogen has a high tendency to be lost in the soil. Most plants cannot use ammonium nitrogen readily.
Conditions that reduce nitrogen uptake:
1- The leaching of nitrate and the volatilization of ammonium quickly 2- Insufficient or unbalanced fertilization.
3- Inadequate root development in the plant
4- application in soils with high pH 5- aeration of the soil
What are Nitrogen Losses? Many factors prevent plants from taking up nitrogen. We can list these factors as follows. – Nitrate (NO3-) and Ammonium (NH4+) nitrogen is converted into organic nitrogen that plants cannot take, this process is called immobilization. – In environments where there is a water shortage and the pH is high, ammonium nitrogen (NH4+) turns into a volatile gas, ammonium (NH3), and this ammonium gas evaporates into the atmosphere. Washing off of fertilizers is another critical nitrogen loss. It is the loss of the plant by descending from the root area (leaching). Another nitrogen loss is the loss of nitrate nitrogen through a process called denitrification.

Our Nitrogen Technology:
ALBA protects the nitrogen-containing fertilizers it is applied against against losses. You can use ALBA in all kinds of soils and all kinds of plants. It is a product that brings an innovative formulation and technology to the functions and problems of nitrogen-containing fertilizers in plant nutrition.
Unlike other nitrogen fertilizer additives, ALBA lets you apply nitrogen how and when it’s convenient for you.
• It is not a plant nutrition product.
• With all kinds of fertilization tools
• Whether in autumn, spring or summer
• In all kinds of soil,
• all kinds of fertilizers
• and you can easily use it on all kinds of plants.
